Guidelines for Services

In an effort to be fully transparent, we want to share a few more details about our law firm hiring process and fees.

At Build My Great Team, we believe intentional hiring shapes the strength and sustainability of your firm. Our approach is grounded in clarity, alignment, and disciplined execution to help you build a team that supports your long-term vision.

We serve as your strategic hiring partner, helping you build a strong, capable, and aligned legal team. Our time-based hiring support is designed for law firms that value integrity, accountability, and high standards of client service.

Each engagement is structured around the package you select and delivered through organized workflows, thoughtful candidate alignment, and professional communication that reflects your firm’s reputation.

While we do not guarantee a specific hiring outcome, we commit to a consistent, well-managed process that gives you confidence in your hiring decisions.

We begin by learning about your role, your firm culture, and your expectations. Once we receive the necessary information, we draft your job posting and screening questions for your review. You maintain final approval, so the position reflects your voice and standards.

After approval, your role is published through our applicant tracking system and distributed across major job boards. You will receive confirmation and an introduction to the BMGT team members supporting your search.

As candidates apply, we manage screening, coordinate interviews, prepare summaries, and deliver organized materials for your review. We support second interviews as needed and keep communication flowing throughout the process.

Our role is to manage the details so you can focus on evaluating strong candidates and making thoughtful hiring decisions.

Your service term begins once your position is published online. Services are provided for the duration of the package you selected.

Because our model is time-based, unused time does not carry forward beyond the active term. If you wish to continue beyond your original period, service extensions are available.

If a search is paused, it may be held for up to 6 months. We provide a reminder near the 3-month mark to help you plan next steps. Positions reopened within the first 3 months incur no fee. Between 3 and 6 months, a modest administrative fee applies. After 6 months, the position expires.

Our goal is to provide flexibility while maintaining clarity and structure around your hiring timeline.

Successful hiring is a collaborative process. Your timely participation helps us refine sourcing strategies and present candidates aligned with your goals.

We ask clients to review candidate materials promptly, provide specific and constructive feedback, and participate in interviews and hiring decisions in good faith.

If your search is not confidential, sharing the opportunity within your network can significantly strengthen results.

Once a hiring decision is made, prompt confirmation of the offer and start date allows us to properly close and document the search.

When both sides stay engaged, the process is efficient and productive.

We stand behind our process.

If a candidate hired through BMGT separates from employment within 60 days of their start date, and written notification is provided at both the start and separation, we will reopen the position and resume the search at no additional service fee.

As part of our 60-day guarantee, if your position needs to be reopened, you may use any remaining services from your original package, such as DiSC assessments or reference checks, at no additional cost. If all services have already been used, additional services are available for a nominal fee.

Please note that all included services must be used during the hiring process for candidates who were part of the BMGT process. Any unused services will expire once the position is closed.

If your original package term has expired at the time the guarantee is triggered, we will conduct a replacement search for up to 60 days. If additional time is needed beyond that period, a service extension may be added.

Because our services are time-based and outcomes depend on market conditions, candidate decisions, and compensation competitiveness, refunds are not offered. Our commitment is to provide professional, structured hiring support throughout your active service term.
